Kankaria Amusement Park — Amrapali Funland & Adventure World

Kankaria amusement park consists of two separate entertainment zones inside the Kankaria Lake Ahmedabad premises — Amrapali Funland (Amusement Park-1) at Gate 6 and Adventure World (Amusement Park-2) at Gate 5. Amrapali Funland (Amusement Park-1)

Amrapali Funland is the full-package theme park at Kankaria Lake, accessible through Gate 6 on the Kankaria Lakefront near Ziraf Circle. A single ₹500 ticket covers all 12+ mechanical rides and an on-site water park, making it the only Kankaria attraction that bundles water slides with traditional amusement rides under one price.

Amrapali earned its local reputation as the first Kankaria venue to install a roller coaster. The park layout follows a circular path around a central water park zone, with mechanical rides arranged along the outer perimeter. Families typically spend 3–4 hours completing all rides and water attractions.

Boomerang Roller Coaster

The Boomerang Roller Coaster at Amrapali Funland runs on a 185-metre track and reaches a top speed of 105.6 km/h, making it the fastest ride at Kankaria Lake. This was the first roller coaster installed inside the Kankaria premises, and it operates on a shuttle-style boomerang mechanism — the train launches forward through loops and inversions, then reverses the entire sequence backward on the same track.

A standalone roller coaster ticket costs ₹200 per person for a 10-minute session. Riders must meet a minimum height requirement. The coaster accommodates 20 passengers per cycle and runs continuously during operating hours.

Mega Disco, Tall Tower & Sky Fly

Three rides define the high-thrill tier at Amrapali Funland after the roller coaster.

Visitors with a full day can access both parks on the same ₹25 general Kankaria Lake entry ticket. The walk between Gate 5 and Gate 6 takes approximately 10 minutes along the Kankaria promenade, passing the Naginawadi Island and Aquarium along the way.
